Mission
"Let the Children Come to Me" Bishop Luis Amigo Foundation, Corp. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development and well being of children and youth in the Philippines. With a renewed spirit and a new hope, the children will lift up their minds and hearts to heaven, thereby experiencing the beauty and joy of life building a brighter future for themselves and their future families.
In order to achieve this mission, the Foundation is committed to the pursuit of the following objectives:
- To build and operate centers to house children and youth in need of protection.
- To rescue children and youth from the dangers of the street, such as prostitution and the underground criminal groups.
- To provide shelter and nourishment for their bodies.
- To provide proper/formal education for their intellectual development.
- To instill in them socio-moral values to improve their behavior/conduct.
- To help them develop a spirituality for a growing faith in God and in the goodness of human kind.
- To offer them opportunities for growth that will enhance their development into well-rounded individuals.
